ManagementNick England DeltaSphere founder Nick
England has over 30 years of experience starting high-tech companies and
developing hardware and software products. Beginning with the design of the
Ikonas graphics and imaging system as a graduate student at N.C. State
University and the founding of Ikonas Graphics Systems in 1978, Nick has been a
pioneer in the computer graphics industry. Nick's other credits include founding
and heading up Trancept Systems, later acquired by Sun Microsystems where he led
Sun's Visualization Products group. Before founding DeltaSphere, Nick was a research
professor in the Computer Science Department of the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill working on the design of the PixelFlow Graphics System and, most
recently, on Image Based Rendering. Doug Schiff Doug
Schiff has been
involved in computer graphics and imaging, engineering and marketing, for the
last 25 years. After graduate work in computer science at the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Doug joined the Visualization Products Group at
Sun Microsystems - first as an engineer - later as Market Segment Manager for
Graphics. Doug left Sun to become Vice President of Marketing for Division, Inc.
- a leading Virtual Reality company and developer of the PixelFlow graphics
system which was later acquired by HP. Before joining DeltaSphere, Doug was Director
of Marketing and Business Development for the Osprey Technologies Division of
ViewCast.com, a leader in
products for video capture, compression, and network video streaming.
